I highly recommend watching this - a video which explains what mushrooms are capable of - for our health and for the health of our planet. Cordyceps sinensis is a mushroom that is beneficial for our health and bodycare but the potential for cordyceps along with its diverse family of fungi, we could literally change the world with mushrooms and fungi based medicines is a example of how universally applicable mushrooms are in our life. There are medicinal mushroom which are so useful yet are relatively unknown to mankind yet Paul Stamets has endeavoured to research and bring these benefits to mankinds attention through his TED TV presentation, you can learn about how this world can benefit from mushrooms, from clearing up oil spills to being able to regrow old forests with a spade and a shoe box. Sounds strange but its all too real and everything is in this video! Its well worth the watch as it contains so much info on the possibilities.

Cordyceps Sinensis alone is not what this video is about, but cordyceps and its 400 derivations are but a small portion of what mothernature/earth has to offer us, if you would take the time to watch this video, we hope that you too can start your journey to better health and an improved understanding of our planet.

In this interesting video - Paul Stamets mentions geo engineering or at least infers the possibility of utilising Fungi as a way to convert a world or even develop a new world from scratch - with the use of some dirt in a box - we could literally rebuild this planet and bring it to a greater level of beauty as yet unseen or unheard, his research is important because it transcends the idea of just using cordyceps sinensis but a who host of different mushroom species can be utilised not only for medicinal mushroom applications but also as a way to restore the environment to the point where the environment is not just growing but is self sufficient due to the mycelium of such fungi species helping it assimilate food but also it is a not so spoken about secret, but the oldest forests also have the biggest concentrations of mycelium in the ground, it may not mean so much to your average Sunday gardener but to those who can see the implications of such an old yet excitingly new technology literally sprouting from the ground, we can but hope that Paul Stamets research makes a bigger impact into mainstream medicine aswell as food and technology!

Cordyceps sinensis is just one of many mushrooms which are able to help - we wish to give you a glimpse at what the mushroom kingdom can do for you, most people think of cordyceps sinensis as a bug killing mushroom and so fear that they too might grow into a mushroom when infact cordyceps sinensis actually supercharges the body and helps in so many ways. Even though cordyceps sinensis is not mentioned in the TED conference, we just really liked the idea that mushroom can be so useful to you and me in everyday life with no waste or toxic results from using this great natural resource.
